# Data & Intelligence

Tembi monitors tens of thousands of European webshops bi-weekly, combining observed signals, public business data, and proprietary machine learning models to deliver actionable e-commerce market intelligence. This page explains what Tembi knows about each webshop, and more importantly, what you can do with it.

### Tembi intelligence

These are not raw data fields - they are outputs from Tembi's proprietary models. They sit on top of the underlying data and are what make Tembi an intelligence platform rather than a data catalogue.

Intelligence signals are calculated by Tembi and updated bi-weekly alongside the underlying data. They are available as filters, sorting criteria, and enrichment fields throughout the platform.

### What Tembi observes 

Beneath the intelligence layer, Tembi collects and structures four categories of data from each webshop. These feed the models above and are also available directly for filtering, prospecting, and analysis.

#### Who is this webshop?

Identity, technology, and business information — useful for qualifying prospects, understanding tech stacks, and linking webshops to legal entities.

Company information is sourced from official business registries and linked to the webshop where a match is found. Availability varies by country.

#### How do they operate at checkout?

Delivery and checkout data extracted directly from the consumer-facing checkout - the most accurate picture of what a webshop actually offers its customers. This powers **Checkout Score** and delivery benchmarking.

Checkout data is the foundation for competitive delivery analysis - understanding which carriers are winning shelf space, how pricing compares, and where your offering stands relative to the market.

### Product insights - what do they sell?

Product-level data extracted and classified from each webshop. Available in three analytical views.

Three views for product data:

* **Domain view** — products per webshop, broken down by brand, category, weight, and price group
* **Brand view** — price, weight, and product counts per brand across multiple webshops
* **Category view** — typical products per category, with average price and weight patterns

### Market coverage

Tembi covers **24 European markets**. Coverage has been rolling out since 2023, with the most established markets (DK, SE) having the longest data history and newer markets (DE, GB, GR, HR) building depth from 2025–2026 onwards.

All four data layers (master data, checkout, product insight, company info) are collected in each market. Checkout data availability lags slightly in some markets due to collection complexity.
